Still here…
Not a good run week last week, due to time pressure. Managed 2 runs, and about 7K. But at the weekend took my son on the back of my bike and covered a reasonable distance; all be it with a couple of stops along the way. My watch/foot pod can’t meaure bike distances, or speeds, so numbers are a guess, but 15K seems about right. I will have to figure out if there is an extra attachment for the bike to help me track that too; since I do intend getting on it more often, along with some swimming.
This morning’s run was agony. Not enough sleep over the weekend, and tired legs from the cycling. I could have given up at .5 K… In the past I may well have, but I’m trying to focus on the more positive aspects now; getting fit, the endorphin high I’ll have for the rest of the day, etc. This time there will be no bailing-out.

Attempt ‘n’ at getting fit, where ‘n’ is a large number
I just finished logging my first week of running in a long time. Also figured out that the treadmill needed my user ID in order to get my weight/calorie expenditure correct; so I’ve revised the figures based on what my watch says. I’ll try to do it that way in future; much easier to just download a set of figures from the watch at the end of the week and add them to this site.
Next week; more of the same. Try to do slightly longer runs, and get down the the baths for some swimming. I’d also like to resurrect my home weights, and start some moderate lifting again.
